Hi, I am Sophie
I am a project manager. A parent. An expat based in Zurich, Switzerland.
A few years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Switzerland wasn’t part of the master plan. Like many international relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The initial weeks were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and shifted expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually routines took shape. We found places that suited us, met other families, and began building something that felt steady.
Why I Built Keen Pathway Root
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism material. What was missing was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Switzerland.
